Wild Horses is a naturally inspired clothing label focusing on natural fabrics and refined designs that are ageless and effortless.

Launched in 2012 by Natalie Donovan, after graduating Fashion and Textiles school in Fremantle WA, with sustainability being the strong focus, Natalie's aim is to reduce wastage by minimalizing plastic usage in sustainable packaging and in the garment itself by choosing to only use natural fibers and by using a pre-order system which eliminates excessive stock that can only lead to landfill, to only produce small exclusive quantities and manufacturing locally in WA and using a small group of Artisans in Indonesia.

We have a small handful of strong inspiring women who work for us. Our patterns, samples and production are done in small quantities allowing us to create small batches of exclusive designs and to allow us to not become the 'Cookie Cutter' of today's Fast Fashion trend. We like to stand alone and be original while still letting our hair down and be wild.

We like to stick to what we know and that is developing and creating cool relaxed effortless pieces that take you from season to season. We like to think of our garments as timeless - Quality versus Quantity always

 

F A B R I C S

 Our main chosen fabric's we tend to use throughout all our ranges are linen and cotton.

These fibers are naturally made and are more gentle on our planet.

Linen is a textile made from flax plant - they use the cellulose fibers that grow inside the stalk of the flax plant to create the fabric. There are 5-6 steps in this process that start out from planting the flax seed to harvesting, breaking, combing, spinning, reeling to then drying ready for making into the appropriate textile product, technically linen is made from a vegetable.

Linen and Cotton allows the wearer to breathe more easily while wearing the garment as it tends to dry quicker when perspiring compared to other fabrics.
